Last fall I got the opportunity to be a part of an "elite thinkers" meeting held in the Chicagoland area. It was at this meeting of the minds that I heard Willow Creek Association's vision for a plan that they have been calling the Willow plus model (check out their blog for group life here). Which essentially is a deep desire to gather together innovative, leading churches together within each of the major ministries: small groups being the one I'm a part of!
Now I'm currently in Long Beach, CA for a second installment where there are now some 40 churches represented: LifeChurch, NorthPoint, National Community Church, and Mosaic to name a few. It has been a blast so far and I will be postinng regularly to keep you guys up to date out there in small group land. Come back for more info!
