Eric Metcalf | NewThing Small Groups Champion
We have a vision for NewThing to be a catalyst for a movement of reproducing churches. My role as Small Groups Champion is to collaborate with NewThing Affiliate Small Group Directors and ask the question, "What role do we play in this reproducing movement?"
This last week we had our second conference call where we shared a few key things:
- Best practice - what is something we just gotta know about?
- Win - where do you feel/know God is blessing you?
- Challenge - where are you needing some support/coaching from the team?
- What can NewThing do for you?
In this meeting, and in the last, several of the NewThing Affiliates shared how they are considering going multi-site for the first time - very cool! In fact, Church! at Bethany is adding it's second location this fall. With multi-site on the radar, the Affiliates asked for a strategy on how to go from 1 to 2 locations in their Small Group Ministry. So here is what we came up with - check it out here.
